What I liked

We liked that the communication between the Riverside clinic and the surgeons on call this was efficient and the referral was made by the riverside staff with no time delays.

What could be improved

Ward staff when my husband was admitted at 7am were uncommunicative and unfriendly Day staff were not aware of his condition. The Doctors round was conducted with no member of the nursing staff present, there was then a very long delay in the information being relayed. It made us feel that we had no confidence in the ward staff, they did not know what was going on. When surgery was cancelled , my husband who had been admitted prepped for theatre was not offerred any food or drink, and he is a diabetic. logo
