About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Medicine (Wards 5 & 8)

(as a service user),

My mum has been in university Hospital Wishaw several times.  Mostly disappointing experiences.  However she has been in ward 5 for two weeks now and I have to say it is the best care she has had and all of the staff are amazing.  They should be held up as a perfect example of caring and doing a wonderful job in the most difficult of times.  I am truly grateful.  Thank you.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience of your mum's most recent admission to University Hospital Wishaw.

It is disappointing to hear that on previous admissions you have found the care and treatment your mum received to be of a poor standard. Please accept my apologies for this.

However, I note that on this occasion the staff in Ward 5 have cared for your mum to a very high standard. This must have been reassuring for you and it will be my pleasure to share your lovely comments with the team in Ward 5.
