"Outstanding care in the hospital and at home"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Elderly medicine Hospital at Home / Hospital at Home Team Stirling

(as a relative),

My husband was in Forth Valley Hospital [W11] for two weeks where he received outstanding compassionate care which was continued when he returned home under the auspices of The Hospital at Home Service.

We had never heard of this service but what a difference it has made to our lives. This is a service where care in the community is genuine and exemplary.

In both settings the staff, we had contact with, were thoughtful, tactful and encouraging. The respectful manner with which staff coped with the  challenging behaviour of some patients was reassuring and an example of best practice.

This is the NHS at it's best.

Hi,

Thank you for your kind feedback.

I am so pleased to hear about the positive impact the service had on you and your husband and know the team will be equally as pleased to receive such positive comments.

Kind Regards

Louise Kirby
