aware doctors are under stress and busy in these pandemic times. receptionists are when we can get through are always courteous and helpful to highest expectations. issues always arise when seeking new prescriptions though as difficult to get responses by phone probably due to numbers? visiting is good when open. thus brings current issues of trying to get repeat prescription for 95 year old disabled and finding surgery closed ..notice on door saying closed across essex but no date etc for when opening .thus urgent needs for medical supplies is left to ..? tried 111 as suggested but telephone response saying being overwhelmed and try online etc . hope we don't have to take her to A & E as I am sure they don't want her there either and its not needed. supplies are! why isn't there an auto request for prescriptions online at each surgery so we can order directly and not bother reception etc? saving calls and time .frustration etc just needs an overview screen by 'doctor'? at each surgery to approve and send to chemist nominated.
