"can never get through or get an appointment"

I have been feeling unwell for a while and when I need to call the doctors at  I can never get through.  I work from 9-5pm so when I call at 8am it’s always engaged and when I do get through the queue is so long you're waiting over an hour which I don’t have as I start work at 9am.

On my days when when I am on admin and I can stay on the phone longer I get told after being on the phone over an hour that there are no appointments and to call back at 8am. This has become a joke not just for me but for all patients.

Last week I waited for 1 hour 50 minutes to speak to someone to be then told there were no appointments with the doctor and they will get someone to call me back the next day . I still didn’t get a call.  Four days later I received a call but only to get booked in for my asthma assessment. When I asked to make an appointment to see a doctor I was told they can’t give me appointment and to call at 8am.

Fuming is not the word - this surgery needs to be investigated.
