"Efficient, caring and friendly staff in minor injuries"

I attended minor injuries unit in A&E in the Mater hospital last Saturday. From the outset the staff were so kind, professional and I felt in safe hands. Very little time was wasted from my entry to the hospital; from registering at the desk to being a called by the triage nurse and then seen by Alistair the ENP nurse. He explained exactly what the plan of action would be and left no stone unturned to make sure my fracture was set to perfection; actually repeated twice to get it just right. 

Brian the radiologist made me feel so at ease, showed me the X-rays and explained in great detail what happened, where the fracture was and the various steps to healing.

So many negative reports about hospitals, waiting times, staff neglect are floating about but I have nothing but admiration for hospital staff, a true vocation and wish to send my sincere thanks and appreciation for all those I met last Saturday.
