"Noise at night on ward"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 1 South Medical Craigavon Area Hospital / Outpatients Department (OPD)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I attended outpatients for an appointment and they decided to keep me in. The doctor explained everything to me and I felt comfortable being kept in. I was then moved to 1 south and the nurses are great. I get everything I ask for although it can get loud at night and it’s hard to sleep.

I spoke with the registered nurse and they said they will pass the message on to night staff to ensure bay door is closed to minimise noise.

Dear Elsfk75 - thank you for providing this feedback. It is lovely to read that the have found the nurses to be great. I am sorry to read that you found it difficult to sleep because of the noise and I hope that by speaking to the nurse this improved for you
