"Bakers Cyst"

About: Victoria Hospital / Emergency Care Ambulatory Service (ECAS)

(as the patient),

Great service. I went to my doctor with a badly swollen and painful calf. I had an ultrasound scan at 9am the following morning for a suspected DVT and it turned out to be a ruptured Bakers cyst. Straight round to ward 4 after scan where a nurse explained what it was. Total time spent at hospital was one hour.
