"I’m pleased with DRC rampton .."

(as the patient),

Been at DRC ( Dimond resource center ) nurse led session since 2pm. I had a fresh air session at 1 -2 then came into drc had a talk with staff. We did some studying and writing. My peers are busy playing Rumi Kub. Really enjoyed today I would have gone in the gym, but it is no longer an hobby. I need to get back into the mind set so start tomorrow with ground access walk I have a badge and I need to use it. On Wednesday night the drc and Kath started the hope group again with Bronwen it went really well we all got involved and learned about 4 different style/type of hope. It was very well organized, and I enjoyed it and so did my peers. I’m pleased with drc but a bit sad because a staff member had to cancel Programme planning because of staff moved and we got no social functions.

Thank you so much for posting this.

Mostly it is very positive which is just great to Read. there did seem to be a lot going on. I am sure the Staff who helped with this will be please to read what a difference it has made

Thank you for taking the time to post about your time in the DRC, it's great to hear you are getting the opportunity to try out lots of different therapies and activities and that they have been so varied. It's my responsibility in the hospital to make sure these sessions happen regularly so I will make sure I let the nursing and TES team know how much you have enjoyed it. I do know that programme planning did get cancelled because of the TES staff needing to help out on the wards to keep everyone safe, but I do know Kath is sorting out another date very soon before Christmas so make sure you let your TES team know what you would like to see on the new programme.
