"Guys hospital transportation"

I was finished my appointment at ten in the morning in the dental implant clinic at Guys went down to transportation on the ground floor and I had to wait till 12 o’clock before I was picked up as we drove away the, driver said for me to put a mask on I told him I was exempt from wearing a face covering as I had COPD and had an lung disease,

I said I was exempt and said I had it on my phone so the driver stopped the car just outside Guys on zigzag lines while they scrutinised it and said it was not good enough as it did not have my name on it but it was on my phone and after waiting 2 hours for transportation I did not want to get into a argument with the driver and have to go back to the transportation lounge so I took a big hit on my inhaler and looked out the window and ignored this driver. Now I live about 2 hours drive away. 

So I googled it and it said that you u are no longer legally required to wear a face covering in any settings when I reached my address I informed the driver to go to the government website and educate themselves and they continued to argue with me so I got out of the car and went into my building.

I found this staff member to be obnoxious and rude, I am a 70 year old person with a muscle wasting disease and I felt berated.

I have been going to Guys for the last 2 years and have never experienced this behaviour
