About: Victoria Hospital / Day Intervention Unit Victoria Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

Was advised to be in hospital for a specific time. Arrived at this time but wasn’t taken down for surgery until 3-4 hours later. Once back on the ward after surgery, I stated several times that I was hungry and would like a bit of toast or something. Not once was I offered a thing. I had to ask for water and painkillers. In my experience, shocking.
