About: Lanarkshire Community Services / GP Out of Hours service Scottish Ambulance Service University Hospital Hairmyres / Care of the Elderly (Wards 13-16)

(as a relative),

My elderly grandfather was seen today by Nikki the AMP based at Wellhall Medical Centre in Hamilton as well as paramedics (Technician Martin and his colleagues) who transferred him to Hairmyres. The care he received was outstanding. Nikki gave him a very thorough assessment while at the same time taking his views on board and showing dignity and respect. When Martin and his colleagues arrived they were very reassuring. The way the spoke to my grandfather was kind and compassionate and we really appreciate how comfortable you made him. As a family we want to say thank you to the staff involved today for doing such an amazing job. They are a credit to the NHS.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to share your story within care opinion. I am really pleased that your grandfather received appropriate care and a positive experience from Nikki at Wellhall and paramedic team. I would be happy to share your comments with Nikki's line manager.

I am so pleased to read about the outstanding care given by Nikki and also our staff to your grandfather. This would be so reassuring for both him and yourself to know he was in such good hands!

The comments you have given for Martin and the other attending crew are really lovely and I would love to pass them on to them all. If you would like me to do this for you, please may we ask you contact our team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your grandfathers name, address and date of when we attended.
