"Pacemaker Implant"

About: Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I went in to have a pacemaker fitted in the day intervention Centre at the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they kept you informed at all times. The theatre staff were brilliant as well, the procedure was fully explained to me and they kept me updated with what they were doing as the procedure was carried out. All the staff also had a sense of humour so although, to be honest, hospital is the last place any of us would wish to be, they made it as relaxing as it possibly could be. I couldn't think of one thing that I could fall to them on or complain about.

Dear Iain1

Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience of having a pacemaker inserted in the Victoria.

It's great to read that you found the theatre and day intervention staff fantastic and that they kept you relaxed and informed throughout everything. I'm sure the staff will be thrilled to read your feedback and on behalf of everybody at the Victoria we wish you a complete and quick recovery following your procedure., take care.

Jamie Gorman
