About: Slieve Roe House

(as a service user),

I have been a resident in Slieve Roe for about 18 months. I was happy to come here. I am treated well. I enjoy my food and my choices are catered for. The staff listen to me and I have choice in my care. The laundry is excellent and look after my clothes. My daily paper is brought to me and I have a television in my room. I am glad to hear that internet is now available to me.

Thank you for telling us about your experience living in Slieve Roe for the past 18 months. I can see that you appreciate both the practical support as well as the help you receive from the care staff which enables you to make your own decisions and choices about your care and well being. I would agree with you about getting a daily paper I like to read a newspaper too its a great way to keep current with local news stories. Its good to see you are enjoying your TV and access to the internet which gives you both additional choice and freedom to watch or listen to programs that interest you and its good to see that this brings you joy.
