"End to end services"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

I arrived at A&E at about 7.30 am. I was triaged and had an EGC within 20 mminutes of arrival. Transferred to the Medical Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) unit. Was provided with an overview of the unit and the time-scales related to treatment. Blood tests, xray and seen doctor within 2.5 hours of arrival on the unit.

Extremely professional services with good communications. End to end coherency of support with time expectations (internal and patient) all met.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the care your received in A&E and SDEC. I am pleased to see the treatment you received was timely and that communication was clear. Good communication is so important and helps patients to know exactly what is happening at each stage of their time in hospital.

I will forward your feedback onto the team as I know they appreciate hearing positive comments.

Kind regards,

Aoife Isherwood.
