My son was admitted to hospital after suffering from an allergic reaction. Our hospital experience began in Daisy Hill's Emergency Department which was a bit stressful. All the staff were very helpful. However, my son was given the wrong dosage of adrenaline which made it more difficult when up on the ward.
Up on the Daisy Children's Ward the staff have all been incredibly helpful. I would particularly like to mention nurse Lisa who was absolutely brilliant when we were first admitted onto the children's ward.
The only thing which obviously needed to be improved was the correct adrenaline dose being administered in the Emergency Department. Other than that, I have no improvements to suggest.
