My mother recently passed away on ward 231, I cannot express enough the care that the staff showed to my mother whilst on this ward, from the cleaners, clerical staff, nurses, palliative care , doctors and all who looked after my 98 year old mum in her last days. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. I also have to say a big thank you for the way that we were looked after on the ward, we slept on the ward for the whole time my mother was there, the comfort and caring of the staff made such a difference to our family during this difficult time, words cannot thank them enough. I know how difficult it must be to work on the wards during this difficult period in time, they were a credit to our wonderful NHS. I could go on for ages in this review, but i just want to say THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts, you were all a credit to your profession. Could you please pass this on to the whole of the staff.
