"Reassuring A&E visit"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Sadly had to make an unexpected urgent dash to A& E , Monklands when I became unwell at work . I am very aware how busy and under pressure our NHS is just now - I didn’t want to be a nuisance but couldn’t ignore my symptoms.

The department was very busy however I was seen fairly quickly, and I was reassured that I had did the right thing by attending. I was fully investigated and kept informed what was happening and why . Despite being rushed off their feet I was well looked after and I am grateful to everyone especially Nurse Fiona  and Consultant Neil. Thank you all.

Dear Mulberry

Thank you for posting your experience of your recent attendance at the Accident & Emergency Department, University Hospital Monklands, when you took unwell at work.

I am delighted that your care and experience was so positive. The whole team work extremely hard to provide patients with the highest standard of care possible and I will ensure that your comments are passed onto the team, specifically Neil and Fiona, who I know will be delighted that you have taken the time to compliment the care and attention they provided to you.

Thank you again for taking the time to post your experience and I hope you are now well on the road to recovery.

Lesley
