About: South West Acute Hospital / Day procedures unit (DPU) South West Acute Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I went into day procedure unit for an endoscopy/colonoscopy. The staff could not have been kinder or lovelier. From the lady who phoned me the week before to check I had all the information, to Ann and Evelyn and Mr Campbell who did the procedure. I felt so reassured and was offered all the pain relief I needed. The aftercare was fantastic too. Nothing was too much trouble. For a rather unpleasant procedure, the staff made it the most pleasant hospital experience I’ve ever had! I can’t thank them enough.
