"Inconvenience"

As a male attending this service, I felt as though I was treat as an inconvenience. The initial letter sent out to me contained a questionaire clearly aimed at females. On attending the Breast Clinic and after the initial assessment which was carried out in an aloof and impersonal manner, my initial thoughts were to walk out as I felt I was wasting their time. I was given an information leaflet without any discussion, (Gynacomastia) and sent back to the waiting room . With no reading glasses I had no idea what was printed within. With the exception of the radiographer nurse (Mammogram) who was helpful and engaging and the other nursing staff, I would say that on the whole that the Doctors needed to be more engaging and at the very least explain things rather than just refering me to a handout despite asking for clarification. Very poor and would not recommend this particular service to other potential male users.
