About: Promoting Well Being / Diabetes Prevention team

(as a service user),

I joined the diabetes prevention team on zoom.At first I was a bit nervous ,but as the weeks passed our tutor Adam made us all feel very much at ease .Got to know the faces week by week and enjoyed everyone of the classes only missed the last one as I had to go for a Corona test thankfully I was negivate.I have learnt alot about how to keep myself from becoming a diabetic.Like watching my sugar intake by reading all labels in shops to see the sugar content.Keeping an eyes on the fats as well and eating four hourly instead of just eating when hungry.I now know I need more exercise as it is very important too .I feel alot better health wise ,but hope I will be able to stick to the plan now that the classes are over.Once again I want to thank Adam and his team for all there help and care throughout the course.
