About: The Deepings Practice

I have developed Polymyalgia Rheumatica and been speaking with a number of Doctors. I have always been able to speak with a doctor on the day that I asked, in order to manage my condition, but the downside is that four different doctors have been involved. Each doctor has been very helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. My only criticism of my treatment is that following a bone scan which indicated a problem I had to contact the surgery to speak with a doctor. However, I was able to speak to a doctor that day. Overall I believe that the service provided by Deeping Practice is very good, especially given the pressure of Covid-19. I think that they need more receptionists particularly for the early morning period. Also I wish that it was possible to send messages via email to GPs. There has been a number of times that I needed to check something with a GP but didn’t need a phone consultation.
