"Virtual visiting in Craigavon Area Hospital"

About: Southern Health & Social Care Trust / Virtual Visiting Service

(as a relative),

My brother has been a patient in CAH for about 6 weeks and during almost all of that time the Virtual Visiting was the only way to keep in touch. When you cannot see your family member for yourself, you always worry, how they are, are they getting better or not.

I just want to say a big thankyou to all the staff who run the service for their help and kindness in doing their jobs. It is a very big help to the family that we can see and speak to the patient. Thankyou all.

Good morning

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the Virtual Visiting Service in Southern Health and Social Services Trust. We recognise how difficult it is for families at the minute due to Covid 19.

This new service has been established to try to support families/friends and patients during this time and your story just lets us see how the important the service is to you and your family.

I have personally shared this story with all the members of the Virtual Visiting Team. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful Virtual Visiting Team. They are just delighted with this feedback.
