"Fantastic care"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as a service user),

I’m almost 12 weeks into pregnancy and have been really struggling with morning sickness, yesterday it got significantly worse and I was unable to keep any fluids down. I contacted the maternity triage line and was straight away asked to attend Rubislaw ward this morning. The lady who took my call was lovely and it was all organised very quickly. This morning I attended the ward and was looked after by Emma who was fantastic. She was really sympathetic to my situation and straight away got my medication changed.

Having basically been told by the GP there was nothing they could do this was a huge comfort that something was being done. I was only in for a few hours but was so impressed with the care! It’s really made a huge difference to me to know that this service is available. Thank you to all involved.
