"Mask wearing in the waiting room"

About: Sherwood Rise Medical Centre

(as a service user),

I went for a blood test at the GP today. The waiting room was absolutely heaving and 70% of the patients were not wearing masks. I was able to wait outside for my appointment which was much appreciated but it is clearly very unsafe for me and others to have so many people so flagrantly ignoring instructions to wear masks

Dear Patient

Thank-you for your feedback on this matter, we do as a practice ask everyone who enters the practice to wear a mask or a face covering, unfortunately we do have a small number of patients who are clearing refusing to wear a mask, we do continue to ask patients to wear mask and if patients do refuse we are asking them to have a seat in the foyer until appointment time. If you wish to discuss this any further please leave your details at reception and i will come back to you. Best wishes
