I needed a contraceptive implant inserting.

Long wait for this due to COVID and poor GP service.

Very difficult to make an appointment with sexual Health services as ‘the diary isn’t available’ or ‘the dates haven’t been released’. By the time the diary was available all appointments had been taken.

When I did get an appointment, there was a concern regarding the medication that I was on so the appointment had to be rescheduled.

When I finally got my appointment, the procedure was undertaken by a nurse with great professionalism - an asset to your service - she took the time to explain everything in detail, was able to answer my questions and concerns and signpost me to other services if required
