"Couldn't fault RHC CDU and ward 1C"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Day Care Unit (Ward 1c)

(as a service user),

I had an extremely positive experience in both of these areas. One of the drs and CDU (can’t remember his name) took his time to explain to me exactly why blood tests were being ordered. Nursing staff were lovely and professional offering support and kind words.  

Ward 1C was exceptional, nursing staff couldn’t have been any more helpful, noticed the waiting area being cleaned lots by staff, the nurses who took my daughters bloods sang to her in the room and were extremely patient with her. Couldn’t fault ward at all 10/10 care.

Thank you for your lovely post with regards to CDU and Ward 1C.

It was good to hear that the DR. took time to explain everything to you and your daughter, and also such great feedback for the nurses, whilst you were in CDU.

With regards to ward 1C, again lovely feedback for the staff, which will be shared for them to see. Great to hear that they couldn't be more helpful and sang to your daughter while she was in their care. Thank you for also highlighting that the area was being cleaned whilst you were there.

I will pass on your post to the Senior Charge Nurses for both areas to feedback to the staff, whom I am sure will be delighted by your comments.
