"Problems with the continence clinic Cambuslang"

(as a service user),

I'm very angry about the Continence Clinic in Cambuslang!

Member of staff was supposed to be here on Tuesday. Now Thursday, still hasn't shown up. No phone call from the Clinic to explain why.

Not the first time we have had problems with this Clinic. My 80+ year old Mother phones and receives no response after waiting for months. Leaves messages, No response! 

 

I think this team should be ashamed of themselves!

Dear dpscotland

I'm so sorry to hear about your mum's experience with the continence clinic at Cambuslang. This is clearly not the standard of care and communication that we aspire to and I can only apologise for that.

It would be helpful if you could contact my Patient Affairs colleagues so that we can understand the issues in more detail, so that your feedback can be used with staff to review practice to avoid this happening in the future and hopefully to resolve your mum's issues.

I will pass this information on but we have still not received any response from the Continence Clinic in Cambuslang.

Thanks for posting a further response. I am very disappointed to hear that your family has still not received any response from the clinic.

I would advise that you make contact with my Patient Affairs colleagues as per my previous post. Hopefully this matter can then be resolved.
