Been with CGL for many years since a teenager, in and out of prison with addiction.
Last year I meet my new keyworker, after being released from prison. I was still using heroin and facing the fact I might loose my unborn child after loosing my first.
My keyworker believed in me and told me how she was going to support me and helped me with a path to recovery. She told me it wasn't going to be easy and at times it hasn't, but 13 months later I have given birth to a healthy boy, been in rehab and got clean. I have worked with all agencies and still doing this. Today I am clean off everything nearly 11 months. I want to thank her for believing in me and a massive thank you for all your love and support on getting me where I am today. You have been the best keyworker I have ever had. I couldn't of got through it without you pushing and pushing me so thank you so much. I promise to keep ongoing and will never give up. I am now looking forward to becoming a service rep for CGL and give what you gave me to someone else.
