My Sister, in her 90s, was initially resident in Slieve Roe for several short periods for respite care. When the time came to necessitate full-time care there was nowhere else She wished to go other than Slieve Roe given her previous experiences there.

Slieve Roe is indeed a “ family “ with staff not only caring for the residents but also accommodating the relatives with their many and varied enquiries and demands. This homely feeling is enhanced by the range of activities provided, musical interludes, parties and a excellent provision of pastoral care. There may be no greater accolade than that should I require nursing care at some time in the future I would feel comfortable and content to be part of the Slieve Roe family
