I was given the news about my lung cancer earlier this year. I went on to have the top lobe of my left lung taken away. My cancer had started to become aggressive. The operation went ahead in April at Nottingham by surgeon Mr Duffy. After recovering for a couple of weeks or so I then started chemotherapy given over 16 weeks. It was grueling but remember YOU own your cancer It doesn't own you. The staff were amazing. I then went on to have 25 sessions of radiotherapy. From the receptionists to the radiography staff I must give my heartfelt thanks for their care and understanding. You are AMAZING people. Anyone reading this do not be afraid the wonderful staff make your transition through this process with such ease. My treatment finishes in October 2021. This may sound odd but I will miss the staff one and all they have been part of my family through this year.
Once again my heartfelt thanks to you all
Have a wonderful Christmas and a fabulous 2022
My love to you all.
