"Some staff help, others harm "

My partner is a patient at the mount and despite having been seeking help for almost 2 years now, they have still not had any luck. My partner doesn’t have a care co-ordinator due to staffing issues and it’s apparent without a care coordinator it’s very difficult to get the help you need. Most staff are wonderfully helpful when you call but still not much happens following that. Unfortunately there are some staff members that are very rude and dismissive. Apparent ‘social workers’ who speak down to you and have almost zero understanding of the impact on the mental health of their patients this causes. If you are someone who struggles with communication skills, I do not recommend the mount as you will simply be ‘forgotten about’ or worse blamed for the failings of the mental health services designed to help you.
