"Person-centered care and excellent service"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Emergency Department The Ulster Hospital / Fracture Clinic

(as a parent/guardian),

I just wanted to take the time to congratulate the Ulster Hospital ED and Fracture Clinic.

Despite the terrible pressures and stress the staff are under, the ED were superb, friendly, fun and professional. We were in and out in 3 hours despite missing Minor Injuries opening hours.

Fracture Clinic was so impressively run from the welcome at Reception to find where we were going, one way systems in place, electronic check-in.

The patient flow was excellent.

My son loved going! especially the lovely stickers from radiotherapy and the choice of colour casts.

Everyone took time with him and spoke to him! Even the plaster nurses carefully explaining that the drill was noisy-although thought it was cool! Even thanks to the receptionist at D area who always tried to get us a time that suited us best.

I am thankful to say that he is back to normal and able to resume all his fun activities-thanks to you all. Person-centered care and excellent service delivery at its shiny best.

Thanks

Very grateful mum
