"staff very patient"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

Bad things - noisy at night with radio playing too long. Staff chatty too loudly at times as well (now I know a lot about them). Everyone was very good and caring.

Staff very patient:

Answered questions as much as possible but still have a few unanswered. Very helpful and cautious if I walked or moved. Everything kept in order and clean.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share your feedback. I was delighted to hear that overall you were happy with the care and support you received from our staff.

We will share your kind comments with the staff and also ask them to reflect and consider what more could be done to minimise the noise and distrubances to patients, especially at night.

I note that although you have had many of your questions answered, you have further questions you would like to ask. Please feel free to email me linda.russell7@aapct.scot.nhs.uk or call me 01563 26210 and I'll do all I can to help.

In the meantime, please accept my good wishes for your ongoing recovery.

Linda

Dear cafehr48,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback via care opinion. What a worrying time this must have been for you. I am glad that staff were caring and were able to answer most of your questions. Often people have more questions and if there is anything I can help you with please contact me via email: christine.somerville@aapct.scot.nhs.uk or via phone 01563 825904.

Rest is so important in recovery and I am sorry for the noise at night. I will ensure your feedback is shared and to remind staff where possible to reduce the noise.

I hope you are now feeling better.

Best Wishes,

Christine and Staff ASU
