I would like to thank the staff of the delivery suite for bringing my beautiful baby boy into the world safety and the staff of C2 for looking after us afterward. I would like to thank Midwife McClurg (forgot her first name) for preparing me to give birth. I was anxious about the unknown having not given birth before. She was a breath of fresh air with a brilliant bubbly nature that put me at ease, she reassured me and gave me the information to make an informed decision about my pain relief which was really appreciated as my pregnancy was rocky at the end I wasn’t able to make a birth plan. I would also like to thank Student Midwife Rebecca, Midwife Louise and Sister Emma. They were brilliant in helping me delivery my baby Jack. As a Nurse myself I couldn’t believe the calibre of the student midwifes. All the student midwifes I met during my stay when my waters leaked and during my labour were amazing but Rebecca especially worked at an incredible standard, was very supportive and will make a great midwife.
