"Rheumatoid Arthritis appointments"

I was to see my Rheumatoid specialist at the beginning of August 2021 (Dr Shetty) Ayr hospital. My appointment was cancelled due to the Covid virus -  fair enough. But I have been suffering from chest infections since June 2021 plus scaring off the Lungs caused by Methotrexate. I was told by my GP to phone Dr Shetty and see if I could speak to them or see them. But their secretary said they are very busy in the Covid wards, plus my GP would need to contact them. If this doctor is that busy, there must be more than one Rheumatoid Dr in Ayrshire and Arran health board.
