(as the patient),

After a week and half stay in both Surgical 1 & Surgical 2 I felt I really had to give a special word of thanks to 2 male nursing staff who went above and beyond during my care.

In Surgical 1 Staff Nurse Murphy was the most understanding & caring male nurse I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He sorted out medications with doctors in the most timely manner, meaning I wasn’t left for hours in need of anything.

In Surgical 2 I also have to say a big thanks to Staff Nurse Steele who was so patient and caring when I had a panic attack. He sat with me and talked me through it and always had a smile for his patients.
