"Doctor didn't call - Was booked for telephone…"

About: Heatherbrook Surgery (Willows Healthcare)

After trying to get an appointment on and off for a couple of months I finally get a telephone call back appointment. The surgery are still not offering face to face only if deemed absolutely necessary, which is fair enough. However, after waiting all day I have had no call from any of the GP's and no courtesy call from the reception to tell me why? I am left in all honesty feeling like I don't matter... I am unsure now how to proceed as I seem to be getting nowhere trying to get help for the problem I am having to deal with.

It makes me so upset that I feel I have to write this review as it isn't in my nature to complain but I have been pushed to my limit and can't get the help I need from the very people put there to care for me. I have never experienced such a lack of care before and it is crushing.

I truly hope that I am in the minority here but unfortunately I have a feeling this isn't the case.

Dear Kaila,

Firstly we would like to apologise that this has happened, this is out of character from the GP as usually they are very obliging when it comes to not getting through to the patients. This will be highlighted at the next clinical meeting to make sure it does not happen again. However, after speaking with you this morning we hope that you found us helpful and was happy with the response received. We value the opinion of our patients here at Heatherbrook.

Thank you.
