"I have found it rewading and empowering"

About: Community Partnerships Service

(as a service user),

I was doing these sessions because was a requirement from probation IV been struggling with mental well-being for years. I'm a woman with epilepsy I have 3 children two of which have been removed from my care. I have been through a lot of traumas ect in the past and all these years have thought the best way to deal is to over think to my self an hide it from the world.

I have had 2 sessions and have found it so rewarding and empowering. I genuinely thought at the beginning I don't want to do this it's a whole load of rubbish, waste of time..... The first few session have just made me be able to open my eyes and realize there is other ways to deal with our minds an mental health that do work. It's a bit disappointing tho the lady that has been doing my sessions won't be continuing the sessions on, so I will see if it was just the therapist/phycologist lady I had who was just excellent at her job????🤔🤔🤔

Thank you for sharing your comments and opinions about the support you are receiving so far. We are pleased to hear that you are finding the sessions helpful and that is has empowered and encouraged you to think about different ways of coping and looking after your mind. It is great to hear that you had a good rapport with your therapist and we are hopeful that you will also work well with your new therapist.
