About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Children's Ward

(as a parent/guardian),

My little girl (1. 5 years) had to go to Forth Valley Royal to get bloods taken at the Children’s Ward outpatients on 9th September. The nurses who carried this out were outstanding. I didn’t catch their names. They were so good at occupying my daughter and they managed to take blood efficiently. The process was over quickly. I would like to thank them for their excellent work and commend them on their practice.

Thank you so much for such wonderful feedback about the team.

Having bloods taken, at any age, is daunting but for someone so little it is always so frightening. It is fantastic to hear that the team made it such a better experience not only for your little girl but for you as a parent.

I will pass on your praise to the team.

Hopefully all has gone well with your little girls' tests and you will not need further visits to the unit.
