"Surgery at Maxillo-Facial Aberdeen Royal infirmary"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans)

(as a service user),

My throat had swelled up to the extent that I was having difficulty eating. My doctor referred me to A.R.I. and was called in for tests and a scan promptly. Called in for results with Mr McDonald who explained, in detail, that he thought that it was a cyst in my throat that required surgery.

I was operated by Ms Dhillon and I cannot praise her and her staff enough, they fully explained every step of the procedure and I very much appreciated the care and kindness I received during my time in hospital.

Many Thanks to them all.

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback on your positive experience during your recent contact with the Maxillofacial team.

We are delighted to hear that you are recovering well and understand this must have been a frightening time. Communication is incredibly important and I will be sure to share your feedback with the teams involved
