"Exceptional care received from diagnosis to discharge"

I visited my doctor in May with a pain which was troubling me, my doctor was swift in his diagnosis and referred me urgently for tests and CT scans which took place within days which led to further clinical investigations in my local hospital in Kettering. The diagnosis was fast and requirement for a treatment plan was in place within a week, I was then booked in for an urgent surgical procedure within the month. At all times through the process I was kept fully informed and treated with respect and dignity. In the days before the procedure I was kept fully informed and my fears were put at ease by the team of clinicians.

On the day of the procedure I was greeted by the consultant and the team and again all of my fears were put at ease.

The care I received after my procedure was second to none both in the recovery area and the ward with the consultant and nursing staff making visits to me to ensure that I was comfortable and were on hand to answer any questions for the duration of my stay, it really helped me after I left hospital when recovering at home. I'm happy to say that save for some further minor treatment the outlook for me is bright.

I can only thank all of the staff at my surgery and the staff at the hospital for their kindness and understanding during a very traumatic time for me.
