"Orbital decompression surgery"

About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Ophthalmology (eye problems) (Ward 1c)

(as a service user),

I had orbital decompression surgery at Gartnavel Hospital. I would like to thank the nurses (Katrina and Siobhan) who were true angels and really pandered to my needs! What can I  say about the surgeons (Dr. Paul and his team)? Where would we be without these dedicated people. I am so grateful and I cannot praise or thank to to them enough!

Dear Mazzy

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to the time you spent in the Opthamology Department of Gartnavel General Hospital.

I hope you are now recovering well after your surgery. It was nice to hear how the staff rallied round and made your stay as enjoyable as it could be after what must have been a worrying time for you and your family.

I will be sure to pass on your comments to all the staff involved including Dr Paul and his team and Katrina and Siobhan who I'm sure will be touched to hear they were able to make a difference while you were in their care.

Please stay safe and take care

Kind regards

Kevin
