I attended A/E via ambulance. I had a blackout leading to me falling from a high stool. An ambulance was called and took me to A/E. The department and corridors were full of patients. The nursing staff, Doctors, radiology department and porters were extremely busy and rushed off their feet yet they remained pleasant, polite, professional and very supportive and reassuring.
I was there for approx. 7 hours and they never stopped, remained calm under pressure and in dealing with the occasional disruptive patient. I wish I could remember the name of the nursing and medical staff who cared for me but I am sorry to say I forgot your names. A great big thank you to all the staff that made me feel at ease and cared for me with compassion.
