"My Digestive Sytem"

About: Derriford Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

Happening now, just had 3 days in Hospital taken in Emergency Ambulance,   did CT Scan and dye, and ultrasound found just usual Parastomal very lge HERNIA and my Diverticular disease.

Sent home, meds doubled, see how you go, then find out scan never reached as far as esophogus or stomach where I have pain what I went in for, pain in esophogus hell and stomach food being stuck vomiting and daily nausea losing weight cant really eat much,

Doc  now wants an Endoscopy camera down and Biopsies. told on list 40 wks classed as Routine now where do I go from here, in meantime im unwell

I’m sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the way in which your care was handled. Here in Endoscopy our waiting list is currently significantly shorter than the 40 weeks you have mentioned. I apologise that you have been misinformed. Please contact the Endoscopy department and we will happily investigate this for you. Thanks for your reply, ive just spoken toEndoscopy who last wk quoted me the time frame who now say im not even on the list although doctors sent referral in August. I'm now trying to contact Gastro, how can this be so conflicting. I'm going round in circles I know what I've been told and quoted
