"Bone marrow test"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Clinical haematology

(as a service user),

When I arrive at the Lincoln hospital, I was greeted by nearby hospital helping staff at the main entrance, and it was good they were there, as I wasn’t sure about the exact location to that particular department, so he guided me to the Lift, and instructed to go to the 3rd floor, by then I could see the department for my Bone marrow test, and when I got in. I  notified the staff member in the reception area, she suggested to me to wait in the sitting area, and one of the nurses will call me.

I was then call into the treatment room, they were friendly by assuring me, as this procedure will not be too long, also that the pain will not be too much to bear, and I was relaxed, as conversation was going on between me, the nurse, and the Bone marrow specialist. The whole procedure was completed in approximately half an hour, and it wasn’t Vito painful. I was then being instructed to relax for a while, and then I was allowed to go home with my wife who accompanied me to the hospital.

I am very happy with the excellent service provided by the NHS and deserving a “Big Well Done” to everyone involved.😀
