I attended the Beaton for my outpatient appointment to see Dr James. I was then admitted to ward B4 with possible spinal cord compression. The staff at B4 were fantastic and took great care of me whilst I was in a great deal of pain. All the doctors, nurses and physios were amazing and understood my concerns. They accommodated my hearing loss due to masks and made sure I understood everything. After a few days I was then transferred another hospital for emergency surgery. B4 staff kept up to date at all times. The ward staff also phoned my fiancé and kept him up to date on my transfer. All the staff are an absolute credit to the beatson and cannot fault anyone.
Everyone at B4 from, nurses, health care assistants, physios, cleaners, porters and kitchen staff were amazing.
Well done to all.
