"Extreme lengths to help"

About: County Hospital Louth

Due to a procedure I'm having in hospital I have to have c covid test three days before. The covid test at louth county is taken outside while you are sat in the car. The nurse came out to me. It was pouring with heavy rain. There was no gazebo for her to stand under, no umbrella and there she stood at my window taking my swab while I sat in the dry and being so polite at the same time. That is dedication. Just a big thank you to her as without her doing this I would not be able to have the procedure at hospital.

‘Thank you for your positive feedback, it is always a pleasure to receive. This will be passed onto the Outpatient team at Louth. The Outpatient teams set up a swabbing service in response to the COVID pandemic, it is a valued service that enables patient to continue with their care pathways. The teams are extremely dedicated and work really hard with total commitment to providing the best service they can. They work in all weather conditions, but regardless maintain their professionalism. Thank you again for your feedback’

Thank you

Best Wishes

Anne-Marie
