(as the patient),

I was taken ill in Redruth  on Thursday and I went into a shop to ask for help. The staff were so good I was scared with very bad chest pains, but they  took over got me to sit down and called the ambulance. From then on every thing was just so calm the Ambulance  paramedics were two of the most wonderful calm people I have ever meet.  At the hospital, a nurse came out to the ambulance took bloods and then a Doctor  came to give me the news that I had had a heart attack. After that things move quickly I was admitted into the hospital. and every thing was done to make sure that I was taken care off. An operation the  Friday to fit a stent went with out a hitch.  Once again I can not thank all the nurses and rest of the staff for the wonderful care that I received.

We have the most wonderful health service in the world. 

SO ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME A SECOND CHANCE EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT WORKS IN TRURO HOSPITAL YOU ARE WONDERFUL   THANK YOU

Thank you for posting your very kind comments regarding the care and treatment you received whilst at Treliske Hospital.

My name is Jane and I am currently the Complaints Officer for the Trust but prior to that I was the Emergency Department (ED) Matron. The ED team are an amazing team to work with, as are the Paramedics and the Cardiology team, and it certainly sounds as though you had exemplary care from start to finish.

The care and treatment you experienced is what we hope to achieve for every patient who is admitted to our hospital, and I am so pleased that we managed to do that for you even during this time of unprecedented demands on our Emergency services.

I hope you are well on the road to recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to post this positive feedback.
