"Getting an implant"

About: Fife Community Services / Sexual Health

(as the patient),

I had a great experience at the Cowdenbeath Clinic. The staff were so lovely and really put me at ease. But the room was so hot and as someone with anxiety it can really make it a lot worse. Fans are needed.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to comment on our service and the experience you had at Cowdenbeath Clinic. The team will be delighted that you had such a positive experience of their care. I must apologise that the environment felt so warm and uncomfortable for you. Unfortunately we cannot use fans in any clinical area due to the risk of infection. We recognise that heat levels in the summer months can be uncomfortable and will always ensure ventilation when possible.

Once again thankyou for your positive and encouraging feedback around our care.

Best wishes

Louise Noble, Lead Nurse
